Barenaked Ladies do Snack Time – Giveaway!!!

Alright, I know, this isn’t their new album, but it is an awesome album from the Barenaked Ladies and it has 24 original children’s songs which they wrote, recorded and performed. And we at scrink.com have a copy for giveaway! This would be such a fantastic album to win for you or a young family member. You could wrap it up and use this as a stocking stuffer or give it for a Secret Santa gift and I promise it will be loved!

The album, Snack Time, is from 2008 and when it was released we immediately decided to get a copy and listen. I for one am a huge Barenaked Ladies fan and was so happy to be able to share my love of their music with my boys.

A companion book was written with artwork by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Hearn, who also contributed artwork for the album. It is the final Barenaked Ladies album to include Steven Page, who departed the band on February 25, 2009.

Snacktime! reached #10 on Canadian charts and peaked at #61 on the Billboard 200. It also won a Juno Award in 2008 in the Best Children’s Album category.

  1. My worlds have collided. I love Bare Naked Ladies (snicker), and having kids music that doesn’t want to make me want to poke my eyes out rocks!

    llama!

  2. Love ‘The Ninjas,’ love ‘Here Come the Geese’ but as good as nearly every track is … gotta love the shortest on on the album – ‘Things.’

  3. This looks like a great CD! I’m always looking for new music for the car, and this sounds wonderful.

  4. I do not have kids of my own, but since I have become a great-aunt FOUR times in the last six months, I know this would save at least one of my nieces sanity. (yes, the one who shocked me by having a baby, she was the one who always said I was the smart one not having kids)
