It’s that time of year again when I’m going to be talking about the Annual Delaware Mud Run, Jr. This is the 3rd year it has happened in Delaware and the third year my oldest, Brae, will be running. I hope Finn will want to run it when he is 6 years old, too.
The event is SUPER fun and very laid back. The obstacles course gets even more crazy each year which I think is a good thing because it’s not about how fast the kids can run it, it’s about how muddy they get and how loud they laugh, right?
The great thing about this race is that 100% of the proceeds benefit the Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware. Seriously 100% so you know the money you donate to support the race or to support a specific runner is going solely to the cause. I highly recommend you sign your child up if he or she is interested. If not then you should still plan to be at the run on June 19th starting at 6pm because it’s an amazing evening!
