The Features Announce Fall Tour Dates news

the-features-albumThe Features are kind of an Owl City meets Tears for Fears band. For me this is a good thing. I’m wishing I had heard about them long before now. I really like their light, funky beat.

The Features will hit the road this fall in support of their new self-titled album, out now on Serpents And Snakes / BMG. The record has been praised for its diversity from track to track. “Think Depeche Mode meets Al Green,” writes Magnet Magazine, “think angular, Television-like guitar lines and ascendant, howl-at-the-moon choruses (‘Tenderly’); think Talking Heads on HGH (‘The New Romantic’); and a remarkably spot-on Ultravox approximation (‘In Your Arms’).”

Beyond acclaim and coverage in the press from the likes of Rolling Stone, Magnet, Nashville Scene, Paste, Relix, MTV Buzzworthy and more, The Features have seen growing success at radio for their led single “This Disorder”, which currently sits in the top 35 for Spins on the national Alternative chart. The band are looking forward to the upcoming fall tour, which will bring them to many of those supportive radio markets.
