The Expendables 3 blowing up more things in August 2014

This summer, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Kelsey Grammar, Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford will join the cast of THE EXPENDABLES 3! Your favorite living legends and original badasses Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger return to their roles to do some major ass-kicking.

Okay I’m all for Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson and even Harrison Ford… I think, but Kelsey Grammar? Really? Gew! I’m offended. Gone are the days when I enjoyed his witty banter on the Frasier show, now he’s going to be showing up in an action movies with people who kick ass. What in the world is his role going to be? Trying to clean up after everyone else?

The Expendables 2 was amusing. Lots of blowing up stuff and a very old looking Sylvester Stallone. My husband and I watched it one night and we liked it, but it’s like a cross between and action movie and a comedy really.

In THE EXPENDABLES 3, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.

THE EXPENDABLES 3 will be BOOMING into theaters everywhere August 15, 2014.
