Before You Go_cover

Before we met please know that I missed you

Before You Go_coverHahaha sometimes I just don’t know how people come up with songs, but man this one is probably just a list of things the singer thought of when they first woke up out of a restless night of sleep. Then um the video… it’s just a looping reel of scenes from an animation circa 1936. I don’t get it. I’m shaking my head. I don’t get it.

Eskimo Kiss Records’ founder, Kim Ware, wrote a new song both as an assignment for Theme Music, a Facebook group in which members write songs or perform covers each week based on a certain theme (that week’s theme was Before & After), and as an anniversary gift to her husband. “Before You Go,” is nothing if not simple and honest.! With her band from Atlanta, GA, the Good Graces, and Chapel Hill, NC’s Potluck record label, Ware is releasing a digital single on February 14, 2014. “Before You Go” b/w “From A to F” is a split release of projects from two Facebook songwriting groups Ware belongs to. The first was an anniversary present to her husband, and the latter a story of forbidden love. This track serves as a prelude to the Good Graces next full length album, to be released later this year.
