Happy Litha! The sun is our life spark

Another delightful Google Doodle!

The Solstice is always a time to celebrate life and to feel blessed for all we have. It is also a time to honor ourselves and one another. The light within each of us glows strongly at the Solstice. It is a time to honor the gift of life and also to offer the Earth healing as well.

This is a time to celebrate our personal achievements and to sense the true nature of inner abundance. The Sun is our life spark; that little piece of light within each of us that burns brightly giving our lives joy, meaning, focus and strength.

The Summer Solstice is a day for coming together with like-minded people; it is a time to celebrate and to dance together to honour the life giver of the solar system, and the life we have within. There is a sense of transformation around this time, even more so with the other cosmic events happening on this day.

Wonderfully enough, the sun unleashed a powerful solar flare and eruption today just in time for the summer solstice: the first day of the summer in Earth’s Northern Hemisphere.

The solar storm occurred in the early hours of Tuesday and was spotted by the space-based Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) operated by NASA and the European Space Agency, according to the website Spaceweather.com, which monitors space weather and skywatching events.

See, I told you this is a day of magic!
