Providence, RI power-pop trio MakeUpBreakUp

Providence, RI pop power-trio MakeUpBreakUp have announced the late summer release of the band’s debut full length, Scents. The group’s effervescent sound invites comparisons to a blend of 90s Britpop and 80s new wave. Fall tour dates throughout the US eastern coast are being arranged to tie in with the album release.

Holed up in a practice space riddled with potential health hazards, the duo wrote and recorded the songs which have now come to be known as their We Prefer Not To… EP. Prelude to a debut full length, We Prefer Not To…, mastered by Jonathan Wyner (David Bowie, Devo, Nirvana). The guys have continually supported the EP on the road over the last couple of years, with two mini-east coast tours, and opening slots for national indie acts such as Inner Party System, Diplo, and Health.
