My father-in-law likes the name Fred. In fact, when someone is talking and stumbles to remember a name they instantly become Fred in his mind. And when our oldest son is in a mood and is refusing to respond to anyone, his grandpop will start calling him Fred. It’s just his thing. So when I saw the synopsis of Fred: The Movie that is exactly where my train of thought went.
FRED: THE MOVIE, the soon to be released DVD from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, just had its HUGE Nickelodeon Premiere on Saturday, September 20th! The cable premiere drew over 7.6 million viewers- just 100k viewers less than what tuned in on Disney to see the first High School Musical- and became this year’s number-one children’s cable TV movie! Moreover, FRED: THE MOVIE is the 5th most watched Nickelodeon telecast ever among Tweens 9-14!
