Wordless Wednesday not so wordless

The photo I’m sharing for 2/23/2011 WW is a photo of a poem my seven-year-old wrote. So, it’s a photo, but it’s a poem, so it’s wordy, you see? He wrote this for his Gram (my Mom) after her dog passed away tragically last week. She wouldn’t want me to discuss it any further and so I won’t, but I did want to share his thoughtfulness.

Grief is like the ocean; it comes in waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim. ~ Vicki Harrison

How sweet of you son to do that! What a very sad and tragic turn of events for everyone, but a very sweet sentiment from your son.
