Sci Fi Atomic watch perfect fun for Father’s Day

Father’s Day in the United States is on the third Sunday of June. Which means it is just around the corner and all of us are probably wondering what to get our Dads or our father figures. I think it is easier to get something for my Mom. My Dad really never wants anything, he’s content with what he has, which is great, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to give him something to show I am thinking about him and celebrating him.

So I’m thinking what can I get him and I know he doesn’t really have a nice watch. Watches are a great gift, they mean a lot and they are looked at often. I could have it engraved with a nice sentiment which he would be able to cherish whenever he checked the time. So perhaps a watch would be the way to go. I still have time to decide.

I looked up Atomic Watches, just because I think they are cool. The fact that they will never lose a second in 60 million years is just awesome. Although how someone tested that is beyond me. Atomic watches adjust by radio frequencies all on their own, so they know exactly when to make changes without you having to think about it. Whether it is leap year, daylight savings time or you are changing time zones the watch is smart enough to adjust on its own which I think is very sci fi and nerdy and I think my Dad would like that even just as a gadget let alone a universal watch.
