Whirlwind of a week and Braeden’s Brown Bags

3b-braeden-brown-bag-logoYou may or may not know that my son Braeden was invited to The White House for the Kids’ State Dinner. I was able to attend with him on Tuesday and since then things have been beautifully crazy. We did meet both the First Lady and the President of the United States. Both of which were gracious and kind with all 54 winners of the Healthy Lunchtime Challenge.

He has been on TV, on the radio and in newspapers. Today he was able to for the first time publicly announce his project idea which he has decided to call Brae’s Brown Bags, click for more information.

Since he announced it we have received two emails from people wanting to help with the initiative. What a beautiful thing! Seriously, to have people coming together to help Braeden with his project. I’m just so overwhelmed with happiness and pride for him. I’m elated and as the project picks up steam I will be sure to share more information with you.

  1. How wonderful is that, I’m so impressed and to be honest, a little jealous! I’ve been doing a lot of research on the White House out of sheer boredom at night and I’m so curious to see inside it!
