Ron’s Gone Wrong

Ron's Gone Wrong Movie Image

It’s like a tiny Baymax…no? Remember Big Hero 6? Doesn’t this little robot thing remind you of big, adorable Baymax from 2014? Or maybe the device from The Mitchels vs the Machines which just released in April 2021?

Anyone? Beuller?

Ron's Gone Wrong PosterThe film was produced by London’s Locksmith Animation and was intended to mark the beginning of a new line of Fox Animation features. Then Disney purchased 20th Century Fox in 2019. Ron’s Gone Wrong, however, was caught up in the turnover, and Disney ended up with the film.

So what do we think it will be like? More of what we’ve already seen, or will the story hold its own weight?

I’m curious enough that I’m sure I’ll be taking the kids to check it out, especially since it releases just days before my daughter’s 9th birthday :)
