Jasmine Becket-Griffith, also known as Strangeling, has been my favorite artist for at least the last decade. Back when I had an office space, two of her prints were hanging up for all to see. She is a traditional acrylic painter, combining elements of realism with fantasy and the surreal. Her designs are gorgeous with bold colors and magical scenes.
She started her website Strangeling.com back in 1997 and is now celebrating her 24th anniversary by giving customers a free dragon pin if they order a certain amount from her store. My friends, the enamel dragon pin is ADORBS! It is named the “Midsummer Dragon Portrait” and I very much want one!
Where can you shop Strangeling?
Jasmine’s images appear in many books and magazines as well as countless merchandising lines such as the Bradford Exchange and Hamilton Collection, and her artwork with the Walt Disney Company, LucasFilm and more. Her primary galleries are the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles and Disney’s WonderGround & Pop Galleries at Disneyland and Disney World.
The two prints that I currently have are called “A Pumpkin Gift” and “Alannah.” Both of which I love so much, they are beautiful and absolutely fit my personality. You can find them on her website along with vinyl dolls, pins, books and more!
For the entire month of July, all orders placed at Strangeling.com ($25+) will receive a FREE “Midsummer Dragon Portrait” enamel pin.
